Brittany Denise Hackett

Brittany Denise Hackett, 30, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 20, 2022 in Kingsley, Iowa.
Brittany was born September 9, 1991 in Harlingen, Texas. At the age of five, Brittany moved with her family to Paullina, Iowa. It is there that she spent her childhood and teenage years. She attended South O’Brien Community Schools until 2008 when she began attending Alternative High School in Marcus, Iowa. She earned her GED certificate in 2012.
Brittany was wed to Jeremy Hackett on July 11, 2011. They shared two beautiful daughters together, Kiah Desiree Hackett and Avery Mae Hackett. They made their home in Kingsley.
Brittany’s biggest passion was spending quality time with her daughters, her siblings, her nieces and nephews, and her closest friends. She also enjoyed being outdoors, exploring new places, reading, watching documentaries, cuddling with her two dogs, Ammo and Libby, and her cat, Gracie, and sharing random facts with everyone. Some of her favorite things included her childhood blanket “TT”, the color pink, singing, taking photos, thunderstorms, and bonfires.
Brittany will be remembered for her compassionate nature, her fierce attitude, her great sense of humor, her immense friendship, and her enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Jeremy Hackett and their daughters Kiah and Avery Hackett, parents Shawn and Kimberly Puhrmann, Sisters Brandy (Grant) Slater, Brooke (Don) McBurney, And Amber (Taylor) Puhrmann, in-laws Brenda and Pat Hackett, Sheena (Matt) Stahlnecker, Josh (Kimberlee) Hackett, and Sammie (Jose) Mozqueda, nieces and nephews Devlin, Baylie, Talen, Henley, Parker, Peyton, Porter, Lily, Ari, Iyan, Diego, Grayson, Owen, and Eli, grandparents Morris and Onie Cuthbertson and Miles and Mary Puhrmann, many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many wonderful friends.
Those there to welcome her in the afterlife include her adored furry companion, Kiwi, and beloved friends Josh and Desi.
