Three South O’Brien FFA members participated in the Chapter Program at the NE Sub-Districts on February 24th in Sheldon. Sophomore Claire Wagner and Juniors Abby Stout and Payton Farquhar talked about different events that the FFA chapter participated in throughout the year in a powerpoint presentation. They were then asked questions about the chapter’s activities by the judges. The team placed first and advanced to the NW District contest that was held Saturday March 5th in Pocahontas. At the district contest they earned a silver rating. Abby Stout said, “The team thought it was a lot of fun telling others what our chapter has accomplished in the past year. Even though we didn’t advance to state, we were pleased with how we did.”
