Wolverine girls suffer Saturday loss at Boyden-Hull
Boyden-Hull owned the first and third quarters in handing South O’Brien a 67-32 defeat January 22 at Hull. The loss in the Saturday matinee dropped the Wolverines to 3-13 on the season.
Taja Conley hit a trio of three-pointers and finished with 11 points. Riley Draper had two treys of her own and scored seven points. Long range baskets also accounted for the three points tallied by both Abby Schreck and Takara Conley. Adding two points apiece were Alyssa Van Beek, Kenna Bauer, Samantha Wilbur and Tatiana Conley. Taja Conley and Schreck each contributed two assists.
The Wolverines made a third of their shots, going 11-for-33 from the floor. They were 7-of-17 from outside the three-point line and 3-of-12 from the foul line. South O’Brien was guilty of 16 turnovers.
Schreck grabbed five rebounds and Van Beek three. Coming away with one steal apiece were Draper, Schreck, Van Beek and Bauer.
