Take A Look At The Night Sky At The Prairie Heritage Center
This January take a look at the night sky from the comfort of the indoors at the Prairie Heritage Center. O’Brien County Conservation will have the inflatable Star Lab set-up so you can investigate constellations and planets, all while staying warm and cozy inside. When not viewing the night sky in the Star Lab there will be a hands-on activity all about space to enjoy.
The night sky program will be led by naturalist, Abbie Parker, at the Prairie Heritage Center on Thursday, January 6th. The program will last an hour starting at 5:00 p.m. Registration is required for the program. Participants can register by visiting www.prairieheritagecenter.org. We ask that participants register by Wednesday, January 5.
This program is available at no cost and is open to people of all ages. For more information, contact Abbie Parker at 712-295-7200.
