Enjoy the Prairie Heritage Center this Winter
While the weather outside might seem frightful, the Prairie Heritage Center is bustling with fun activities that are delightful! Make sure a trip to the center is on your calendar this winter.
In December you will find many winter and holiday themed crafts that are set-out for people of all ages to enjoy. Create ornaments for your tree, design a pair of binoculars to spot Santa and birds with, and create fun reindeer. You will also find other fun activities like an indoor storybook trail, investigating different fossils, and exploring space. January will boast a new set of activities that will focus around birds, snowflakes, and even fun things to do outside (if you want to brave the cold)!
The Prairie Heritage Center is open Tuesday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. It also will be open later on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The center will be closed for the holidays on December 24, December 25, December 31, and January 1st.
