Wolverine boys fall to Hinton golfers
South O’Brien hosted War Eagle Conference golf April 26 at Primghar Golf & Country Club.
“It was an amazing night for golf with the temps touching 80 degrees and less than five mph wind,” commented Wolverine coach Heath Reichle. “South O’Brien lost to Hinton 196-188, but the boys played all right.” Senior Josh Johannsen had his best round of the year and tied Hinton’s Brody Spies with a 43. After a two-hole playoff, Josh fell to Brody and took a second place finish. Kaedon Louscher just missed a medal and finished in fifth place with a 49 and Traven Bahrenfuss had his best round of the year with a 50.
Team scores: Hinton 188, South O’Brien 196.
