Wolverine golfers gain split against HMS and Trinity boys

South O’Brien had their first home meet of the year April 22 at Primghar Golf & Country Club. The Wolverines hosted Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn and Trinity Christian separately in a double dual. We shot really well tonight and lost to HMS 192-189 and defeated TC 192-198.
Senior Josh Johanssen lead the way for us with a 46 and finished third while senior Jason Wittrock finished fourth in both duals. Junior Kaedon Louscher just missed a medal while finishing fifth against Trinity Christian. And senior Jack Farquhar shot a career low 50 while playing some great golf.
We look forward to some better weather over the next couple weeks while we have three meets each week to finish the season.
