The South O’Brien boys golfers were back in action April 15, taking on MMCRU in a War Eagle Conference meet held at the Marcus Golf Club. The host team got the better of the Wolverines 186-200.
“After having our last two meets postponed it was nice to get out and play some golf,” commented South O’Brien coach Heath Reichle. “While the temperature was in the low 40’s, it didn’t seem to matter since the wind was under 10 mph.”
Seniors Jason Wittrock and Josh Johannsen tied for fourth, each with a 48, and Wittrock won the handicap hole to take the fourth place medal. Junior Kaedon Louscher finished sixth with a 49.
Added Reichle, “We look forward to getting a little better every day and putting together some lower scores every week.”
