She received her education in various schools and graduated from Larabee High School in 1948. On March 3, 1949, she was united in marriage to Donald “Donnie” Kuehl at the parsonage in Calumet. She took joy in cooking, baking, working in the garden, and helping her husband with the fieldwork on the farm. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed taking trips and having dinners with the ladies. As Mary Ann and Donnie’s family grew, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
