The Primghar Community Playhouse is excited to be back on the Primghar stage rehearsing “The Nutcracker Prince” by Kathryn Schultz Miller.
We have 18 children from the South O’Brien, Hospers, and Sheldon area. Jeremy Rohwer is directing the performance.
‘The Nutcracker Prince,” a remarkable story during the holiday season, is about children and the magic of childhood. It is a story about a girl named Clara who is gifted a special nutcracker by her uncle. The gift draws her into a world of magic and wonder when she befriends a nutcracker that comes to life on Christmas Eve and wages a battle against the evil Mouse King. A girl and her nutcracker join a Christmas battle between soldiers and the minions of a Mouse King.
Production dates are Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the Primghar Community Building. Tickets will be available at the door.
