Donation to Paullina Ambulance towards new Ambulance
Paullina’s Hometown Christmas Festival included a fun night of Jingle & Mingle cocktail party, a trivia competition and a Festival of Trees Christmas brunch. Proceeds raised of $3,241.12 from these events were given to the Paullina EMS Ambulance team to put towards purchasing their new ambulance.
The Hometown Christmas weekend kicked off with the Jingle and Mingle social time with three groups of mixologists serving samples of their holiday cocktails; Blitzen, The Grinch and Snowhopper. After a very close competition between the 3 groups Marty Weber and Mark Von Arb were again awarded the title of “Mr. Jingle” for another year. Join us next year to vote for the best cocktail when Weber & Von Arb will defend their title.
There were 11 trivia teams testing their knowledge of Paullina history, Seinfeld phraseology and general useless trivia knowledge. The winning team of Tom & Holly Wagner, Mimi Wagner, Paul & Cindy Struve and Cindy Richter (a/k/a Santa’s Smarties) won bragging rights and the top cash prize. A big “thank you” to emcee, Scott Ebel, the Paullina Ambulance crew for organizing and leading the trivia game and all those who contributed in various ways to help make the evening a success.
On Saturday morning the annual Festival of Trees brunch, catered by JW’s, was full of holiday festivity. Many generous tips were contributed towards the fundraiser. “Thank you” to all the businesses and individuals that donated food, time and decorating talents that make this event special.
