The South O’Brien Golf Boys finished their dual meet season at Willow Creek in Le Mars on May 12. It was a makeup match that was postponed earlier in the season due to weather. Scores from the black course were used from the War Eagle Conference Tournament. The Wolverines beat the Hawks by one, 192-193.
Aiden Bush from HMS was medalist with a 42. Runner up went to Ryan Fuller with a 43. Jace Kleinwolterink took 3rd with a 45. The 4th place medal went to Jack Mastbergen from HMS with a 46. “I am happy the guys finished with a dual meet win, but it was a lot closer than I hoped it would be,” remarked South O’Brien coach Kris Faust. The Wolverines were 3-7 in duals this season.
