Emmetsburg improved to 12-3 on the season with a 45-37 win over South O’Brien January 25 at Emmetsburg. The game was postponed from December 21 due to the weather.
The visitors were up by three at halftime but the E-Hawks outscored them by 11 in the second half. With the loss the Wolverines’ record slipped to 9-6.
Derek Paulsen and Caden Wittrock each scored 13 points to pace the Wolverines’ effort. Emmetsburg got 14 points from Kale Frank and 13 from Byron Maina.
