The Tigers hosted South O’Brien on Friday December 5. Game scoring was pretty lopsided in favor of the guests. Opening quarter saw the Wolverines take a 19-2 lead. Second quarter scoring was better for the Tigers, 12-16. The halftime score was 31-18 Wolverines.
Second half started in favor of the Tigers, gaining a point on the Wolverines with a 10-9 quarter. A dominating 4th quarter stalled the comeback. The game final was 58 Wolverines, 34 Tigers.
Junior Abby Woodall led the Wolverine scoring with 12 points. She hit 5/9 field goals and 2/4 3-pointers. Junior BreLee Rasmussen hit 100% of her attempts. She also scored 12 from a perfect field goal effort. Lindsey Einck scored 10.
Einck was strong under the basket with 9 rebounds. Senior Reese Farquhar followed with 4 rebounds. Three of her grabs were offensive. She also booked 5 steals. Rasmussen took 4 board with 2 offensive grabs. She is credited with a block and 2 steals.
