The Primghar City Council met in a Special Session on September 25, 2025 at 4:00 PM in the council chambers with Mayor Kurt Edwards presiding. Council present – Ryan Jenness, Steve Wittrock, Tim Honkomp and Kevin Smith. Staff present – Jaynee Rushton. Motion Wittrock to call the meeting to order, second Honkomp. All ayes, motion carried. Motion by Smith to approve Tobacco License for Progo, second Jenness. All ayes, motion carried. Motion by Honkomp to approve Michael Sand’s application for Outside Maintenance/Lineman, second Jenness. All ayes, motion carried. Motion by Jenness to approve Additional funding to fire department for the truck fund, second Smith. All ayes, motion carried. Motion Jenness to adjourn special meeting at 4:37, second Wittrock. All ayes, motion carried.
