by Mari Radtke – Every year, the tiny community of Sutherland works together to build a weekend of extraordinary events. Several community organizations put their energy into their own specialty. Every year, the Labor Day Sunday hosts a car show and shine event. This year, it filled 6 blocks with classic cars, trucks and motorcycles. Awards were given it took no time for the car owners to join the car cruise fun run from 3 until 8 when they return for the annual street dance.
