Obituary – Angela Kay Hoff

Angela Kay Hoff

PAULLINA, IOWA ~ Angela Kay Hoff, 50, of Paullina, formerly of Hawarden, Iowa, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, surrounded by her family.
Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, LCMS in Hawarden, Iowa with Rev. Joshua Lowe officiating. A luncheon will follow at the United Methodist Church in Hawarden. The Porter Funeral Home is assisting the family. Condolences may be sent to www.porterfuneralhomes.com.
Angela Kay was born September 1, 1974, in Hawarden, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Kathy (Dimmick) Beeck. She was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron, Iowa. Being raised in a military family, Angela grew up in Kansas, Hawarden, Iowa, Germany, Fort Carson, Colorado, and later in Missouri, before returning to Hawarden. Angela worked at Coilcraft in Hawarden and later received her BA Degree in Psychology.
Angela married Joshua Kremer on St. Patrick’s Day in 1994. To this union 3 children were born, Bradly, Alexis, and Michael. They made their home in Minnesota, Nebraska, Florida, and England, prior to returning to Hawarden. They divorced in 2010.
Angela met Jon Hoff and they made their home in Paullina, Iowa, being married on May 31, 2014. Angela worked at Seasons Center, and then as a paraeducator at South O’Brien High School until her illness became too great. Angela loved people, loved helping people, and enjoyed doing her arts and crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Jon Hoff of Paullina; 4 children, Bradly Kremer (Erika) of Sheldon, Iowa, Alexis Kremer of Paullina, Michael Kremer of Orange City, Iowa, and Bryan Hoff (Liz) of Ames, Iowa; grandson, Daniel Kremer; granddaughter, Presley Hoff; her parents, Kathy and Ron Barnes of Hawarden and Robert and Mary Beeck of Akron; 4 sisters, Missy Stoughtenger (Chris) of Alcester, South Dakota, Shayla Hulstein (Jeff) of Hawarden, Laura Mora (Alonso) of Hawarden, and LaCreasha Gray (Shane) also of Hawarden; step sister, Rhonda DeBoom (Jeremy) of Hawarden; step brother, Toney Barnes (Frankie) of Hawarden; Jon’s parents, Denise Kukuk (Bill) of New England, North Dakota and Ray Tucker of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; brother-in-law, Kim Hoff (Lesley) of Brandon, South Dakota; sister-in-law, Krystal Hall (Brandon) of Des Moines, Iowa; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Angela was preceded in death by a stillborn daughter, Aspen Beeck-Kremer; and grandparents, Glenn and Gladys Dimmick and Carl and Norma Beeck.
