Lori Ewoldt of the Paullina American Legion Auxiliary organized a gift collection for O’Brien County Veterans. Her supporting cast of very active Legion Auxiliary members to collect and deliver the gifts to the Veterans Affairs office in Primghar were Jodi Johannsen, Cindy Simm and Dee Hoger. Tables were full of toys and other useful gifts donated shoppers across all the Paullina shopping venues.
Further supporting the effort to support O’Brien County Veterans at Christmas comes from the Sheldon Legion Auxiliary. That group volunteered to do the wrapping. What a chore that is. The wrapping was done at the Court House. Gifts will be distributed through the VA office between now and Christmas Eve.
Thanks to all volunteers and donors who did their part to make a brighter Christmas for our veterans.
