A. Call to Order
President Gina Paulsen called the meeting to order at 12:05 PM.
B. Roll Call and Declaration of Quorum
All members were present.  Quorum established.
C. Adoption of Agenda
Motion made by: Beth Sibenaller-Woodall
Motion seconded by: Josh Rausch

Unanimously Approved
D. Public Hearing Pursuant to Iowa Code 275.23A(2) Redistricting Following Federal Decennial Census
President Gina Paulsen declared the public hearing open at 12:06 PM.  No public comments were received.

  1. Director Districts
    Superintendent Riley shared information with the board regarding the redistricting process for director districts.  He noted that it was necessary to slightly change the boundaries of Director Districts #1 and #2 to conform with Iowa code.
    a. Consider Resolution Defining the Director District Boundaries for the South O’Brien Community School District
    NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOUTH O’BRIEN COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:  1. To adopt as the boundaries for the six (6) director districts of the South O’Brien Community School District as shown on the map attached as Exhibit A. 2. The method of election and the number of directors for South O’Brien Community School District shall remain the same since the last filing of 2012 other than the modifications of the boundaries of the director districts set forth on Exhibit A. 3. The secretary of the Board of Directors shall cause to be filed with the Iowa Secretary of State a copy of this Resolution by May 15, 2023, along with the School Redistricting Worksheet and Population Certification which shall be signed by the President of this Board of Directors.
