The South O’Brien girls pulled off a decisive win when they faced Harris-Lake Park at Lake Park on Thursday, April 27. The Wolverines won the War Eagle Conference dual 221-261 and collected the top three medals.
Senior Whitney Einck earned the gold with a 47, one of her best scores of the season. Freshman Lindsey Einck, shooting a season-best 50, took the runner-up medal. Senior Sam Wilbur shot a 54 and grabbed the 3rd place medal. “It was great to get the top three medals,” remarked South O’Brien coach Kris Faust. “We have only five girls, so they really have to put together good scores if we’re going to win duals.”
