Karlee Warnke Is Quick Out Of The Blocks On The Way To A Runner Up Finish In The Warrior Coed Track Meet 200 Meter Dash.

Tawni Wulf Starts Out On The Anchor Leg Of The 4x800 Relay After Taking The Baton From Jaylah Jackson At The Warrior Coed Track Meet.

Several high finishes helped the South O’Brien girls track and field team to take third place at The Warrior Coed Track Meet held April 24 at Alta. The Warriors scored a total of 117 points. Sioux Central was first with 230 and host Alta-Aurelia second with 125.
All three South O’Brien competitors in the shot put earned points with Maddie Johnson placing first, Clara Larsen third and McKenna Wallin fifth. Karlee Warnke finished second in the 200 meters. Taja Conley was third in the 400 meter hurdles as was Larsen in the discus. Takara Conley took fourth in both the 800 and 1500.
Relays placing second were the 4×200 of Maddy Friedrichsen, Avery Halverson, Addison Hedberg and Kelsee Warnke, the sprint medley of Kelsee Warnke, Camryn Strubbe, Karlee Warnke and Taja Conley and the distance medley of Karlee Warnke, Strubbe, Taja Conley and Takara Conley.
