The South O’Brien track and field girls were among the 11 teams competing at the Russ Kraai Relays held April 11 at Holstein. Host Ridge View won the event with 172.50 points. The Wolverines, minus a few of their athletes, finished eighth with 32 points.
Maddie Johnson won the shot put with a throw of 33’ 7”. Clara Larsen finished fourth. Placing fifth were the 4×100 relay of Avery Halverson, Camryn Strubbe, Addison Hedberg and Kelsee Warnke and the distance medley relay of Abigail Nelson, Camryn Strubbe, Avery Halverson and Reece Farquhar.
