Cooperation needed for pool project – A scant 2.31% of Primghar’s population (23 people) attended the swimming pool meeting at the farm bureau building Tuesday evening, May 9. Although there were many conflicting events, MORE people should have been at this very informative meeting. Valid excuses accepted, this writer feels that those persons who say they arc interested, yet do not appear at such meetings, should at least send someone else from their family and/or circle of friends. Is it possible for 2.31% of this community’s population to successfully get the pool project moving and completed. Well, those who were at that meeting Tuesday night appeared to be a willing group . . . but no matter how willing, a project such as this needs wholehearted community cooperation AND participation.
