The South O’Brien boys traveled to Hinton April 18 to take part in the Blackhawk Relays. MMCRU was tops among the nine teams with a total of 132 points. The Wolverines scored 40 points and finished seventh.
Willie Conley was runner-up in the 400 meter hurdles. In the 110 meter hurdles Brennan Billick placed third and Willie Conley fourth. The duo joined Brody Van Beek and Cole Cox on the third-place shuttle hurdle relay entry.
Finishing fourth were a pair of added events: the 4×100 meter relay for throwers and the 4×200 relay for freshmen. Making up the first group were Josh Gnade, Jayven Miller, Nickholas Sage and Luis Salazar. The freshman sprinters were Kaden Tjossem, Tyler Hintz, Marshal Warnke and Luke Swanson. Fourth place also went to the 4×200 relay A team of Brett Evans, Asa Flinders, Cox and Jordan Jenness.
