Akron-Westfield rallied for three runs in each of the last two innings to overtake South O’Brien and win 6-5 July 5 at Akron.The Wolverines had put four runs on the board in the first and held that 4-0 lead until the bottom of the sixth. The three Westerner runs in that inning cut the deficit to 4-3. South O’Brien added an insurance run in the seventh but three more runs for the home team in the bottom of the inning decided the issue.Brock Riedemann went 1-for-2 at the plate . . .
